Hurricane Katrina Relief
In response to the overwhelming need in the aftermath of the Katrina
hurricane, Selecta Corp, proud members of the Williamson-Dickie
Family, are assisting in relief efforts by donating over $100,000 of
medical uniforms and underwear to the victims of Hurricane Katrina and
the care providers that have responded.
With the devastation and the challenging conditions in Louisiana and
Mississippi, there is a pressing need for scrubs and garments for the
Medical professionals that are working tirelessly to provide care for the
victims. Selecta Corp, LLC, doing business as Dickies Medical
Uniforms, a popular standard in the medical uniform business, is
pleased to assist by donating medical scrub tops and bottoms for
volunteers and victims. In addition, Selecta Corp reacted immediately to
the displaced Tulane football team by providing performance underwear
to the entire football team and coaching staff, many who lost all personal
belongings and homes. In addition, Selecta Corp is donating additional
underwear to the victims of Katrina, many whom have left their homes
without any clothing or personal effects.
Selecta Corp employees are also conducting a canned food drive which
will be donated to the NORTH TEXAS FOOD BANK. In addition, a
monetary collection and additional personal contributions of toys and
donated items will be given to the Salvation Army. A blood drive has been
planned for blood to be donated to the Carter Blood Bank.

Plano, Texas. The troops came to our headquarters in
Carrollton, Texas to prepare and deliver scrub donations to
The Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and The Children's
